Agreement

BOBA Leagues is a platform for running and playing in Bo Jackson Battle Arena leagues. It is operated by Radish Dijital Technologies LLC ("we" or "us").

By signing in, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not sign in.

Who can use BOBA Leagues

You must be at least 13 years old to use BOBA Leagues. If you are under 18, you need a parent or legal guardian's permission, and a parent or guardian must make any payment, including platform fees and entry fees.

Your account

You sign in with Google or with a sign-in link we email you. We do not store a password.

Emailed sign-in links expire after 24 hours and stop working once used. Some other emails we send also contain links that sign you in for 24 hours. Do not forward them.

When you first sign in, you choose a display name. Your display name is public.

You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. If you think your account was accessed without permission, tell us through the contact form.

Leagues and commissioners

Commissioners create and run leagues. They set a league's entry fee and prizes and manage its roster.

Ratings change when a league is completed, not after each reported match.

When a league that collects prize shipping addresses is completed, we email those addresses to its commissioners.

Fees and payments

BOBA Leagues charges a platform fee of $5.00 USD for each league registration. There is no platform fee for practice leagues, and we may waive the fee at other times.

Card payments go through Stripe Checkout. Prices are in US dollars. We do not charge tax. There is no trial. We do not store full card numbers.

When a league charges an entry fee by card, Stripe charges it on the commissioner's own Stripe account, and the platform fee is paid to us from that charge.

Promotion codes can lower the Checkout total and do not lower the $5.00 application fee.

Cash entry fees are not charged through the site. When a league's schedule is generated, we invoice the commissioner $5.00 for each cash player, due in 30 days.

Checkout holds your seat for 24 hours. The hold expires when the site next checks it. There is no separate scheduled job. There is no email when a payment fails.

If a league is full, joining puts you on its waitlist and does not charge you. The commissioner decides whether to move you off the waitlist.

When the commissioner pays the platform fee, an invited player still pays the $5.00 platform fee at Checkout. Players who were not invited are not charged the platform fee when they join.

The commissioner's own platform-fee charge can also include an invited player who already paid it at Checkout.

If the commissioner has not finished Stripe Connect onboarding, Checkout charges only the platform fee and does not charge a stored entry fee.

Creating a league with an entry fee requires completed Stripe Connect onboarding.

The site does not issue a partial refund.

A payment that cannot be applied to a registration is refunded.

Refunds

Refunds made through the site are always full refunds of the payment, including the platform fee when one was charged. You get one when:

• the commissioner removes you during registration or check-in, before the league's schedule exists
• you drop out before the league's schedule or bracket exists
• the commissioner cancels the league

Dropping out after the schedule exists is not refunded. Rejecting a pending registration and deleting a league do not refund payments through the site.

Platform fees a commissioner pays directly, including paid cash-player invoices, are not refunded when a league is cancelled.

What you submit

You keep ownership of content you submit, including names, decks, decklists, and match reports. You grant Radish Dijital Technologies LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and share that content to operate and promote BOBA Leagues.

Acceptable use

Do not cheat or submit false match results. Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other players. Do not create fake, impersonating, or duplicate accounts. Do not commit payment fraud or chargeback abuse, such as disputing an entry fee after playing. Do not use bots, scrapers, or automated access, and do not try to disrupt, probe, or break into the site. Do not copy, scrape, or resell site data, including rankings, decklists, results, and price data, for commercial use or to build a competing product without written permission. Partner API access is the approved route. Follow the rules of each league and its commissioner. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Other services

Google provides sign-in, Stripe processes payments, Mailgun sends email, and Supabase hosts our database. Their own terms apply to your use of their services. Our Privacy Policy lists what each one receives.

Availability and no warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, or the accuracy of data, including rankings, results, and price data. Radish Dijital Technologies LLC is not responsible for the conduct of commissioners, co-commissioners, or judges, for prize fulfillment or delivery, or for disputes between players and commissioners.

Limitation of liability

There is no liability to the fullest extent permitted by law for any claim arising from or related to the service. If any liability is found despite that, it is limited to the BOBA Leagues platform fees you paid to Radish Dijital Technologies LLC in the 12 months before the claim, not entry fees collected by commissioners.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the State of Vermont. Disputes about them will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Rhode Island.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these terms or this policy by posting the new version and updating the effective date on the page. Continued use after the update means you accept the changes.
